Strictly Come Dancing star Tom Fletcher accidentally let slip a “secret” earlier today. He shared his embarrassing slip-up in a video appearance with his professional partner Amy Dowden.

Tom shared this week’s dance before he was supposed to earlier today.

Posting in view of his two million followers, the McFly star admitted his error.

As the pair prepared for their appearance on It Takes Two, Amy and Tom appeared in a video on Instagram.

Amy said: “We’re going to be talking all about the Jive and maybe we’ll find out what dance we’re doing?”

Tom was then caught wincing as he replied: “Don’t they know?

“I think I might have said earlier one. Was I not meant to say?”

After Amy admitted he wasn’t supposed to have admitted that already, Tom issued a plea to his followers.

He added: “If I did accidentally say it earlier, just act surprised.”

“You’ve got to tell me these things,” he then quipped to Amy.

Tom and Amy made their triumphant return to Strictly on Saturday night.

The pair had been off for 10 days after they both tested positive for Covid.

When they got back to dancing on Strictly at the weekend, they impressed the judges with their movie week performance.

They danced the Jive to Johnny B Goode from Back To The Future.

Tom and Amy landed themselves near the top of the leaderboard with four eights.

This left them with 32 points and fifth on the scoreboard.

However, not everyone could make it through to week four of the show as one couple was voted off.

After facing Judi Love and Graziano Di Prima in the dance-off, it was Katie McGlynn who was sent home.

Her American Smooth to Cruella De Vil with Gorka Márquez failed to impress the judges.

The pair gave their exit interview on It Takes Two earlier tonight.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday night on BBC One.
