A Place In The Sun presenter Jean Johansson expressed the importance of carefully selecting what is shared on social media as she discussed what she would never share publicly. The 39-year-old regularly gives fans an insight into her career and family life on her Instagram page, where she has 18,000 followers.

But while she may present from sunny destinations, the presenter said fans will never see her stripping down.

She spilled in a recent interview: “If you’re a sporty person, I should see lots of sporty pictures on your Instagram.

“I’m a daytime TV presenter so you’ll see my travels, you’ll see my animals. You won’t see me in my underwear or out clubbing.

“I don’t really share my private life so stay on brand and the sooner that teenagers and school leavers learn that the better, because we’re often seeing people regretting parts of their past that they’ve put out there for everyone to see.”

Jean, a mother-of-one, went on to say she believes the importance of what you share on social media should be taught in schools.

“You don’t want to be leaving school and your employer is looking at tweets from when you were 12 or 13,” she added to Digital Runway.

The presenter acknowledged that particular posts could be with you for the rest of your life.

Last month, the A Place in the Sun star gave fans an insight into her time in St Lucia.

During a break from filming, she showcased her sensational physique in a black swimsuit as she posed in the sea.

Many of Jean’s fans flocked to her post to compliment her.

Appleton Jen commented: “Looking fabulous.”

Jean visited the idyllic location to film for the popular Channel 4 property show.

She wrote at the time: “And that is a WRAP on wonderful St Lucia.

“This Island has left a handprint on my heart from the beautiful and warm people, breathtaking beaches, delicious food and stunning landscape.”

Away from the show, Jean joined Richard Osman on his House of Games show.

The presenter put her general knowledge skills to the test in a variety of trivia-based games back in 2020.

You can catch the episodes this week on Richard Osman’s House of Games at 6pm on BBC Two.

A Place In The Sun airs weekdays from 3pm on Channel 4.
