Zoe Ball and Fatboy Slims son Woody cant afford bread after parents cut him off

Zoe Ball and Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook's son Woody Cook, has admitted that he is so short on cash that he can barely afford a loaf of bread.

While his mother Zoe is one of the BBC's highest-paid radio presenters and his dad is a world-famous DJ, the 20 year old has explained that they have financially "cut him off" and make him work hard to earn a living.

Speaking at the Attitude Awards earlier this week, the Celebrity Gogglebox star told The Mirror: "My parents make it clear that I was born into a privilege they have had to work their ass off to get.

"My parents have cut me off completely. They are like, 'Do you want to be a trust fund child, or do you want to work?' I want to work, so I am now self-sufficient. I don't have a student loan."

Woody went on to detail the struggles of earning money "all by myself".

"The other day, I couldn't afford bread, but I'm working through it," he said.

Woody's parents married in 1999 but divorced in 2016. The friendly exes are also parents to eleven year old daughter Nelly.

Meanwhile, Woody also told the publication that he prides himself on not being like other celebrity offspring.

"A bouncer said to me, 'I knew you were coming, and I didn't want to like you. I've seen the Brooklyn Beckhams, I've seen the s***, but I met you, and you buck the trend.'"

Woody made waves at the Attitude Awards earlier this week, as he showed up proudly wearing an elegant and dramatic ball gown.

Woody, famous in his own right thanks to his time on The Circle, was wearing a dress that featured a fitted top with thin straps that cinched in at the waist and then flowed out in a flattering style.

The dress was white and covered in what appeared to be black graffiti, with words such as "act normal" featuring in the unusual design.

Proud mum Zoe shared a gushing tribute to her son, with a series of pictures from the event.

"Our boy wonder @woody_cook rocking the @attitudemag awards wearing @ollihull & meeting his hero @russelltdavies63," the former Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two host captioned her Instagram post.

"Godfather Chesh will be smiling down bear #proudmama #drwho #itsasin #attitudeawards #loveislove #moment photographs c/o @dailymail," she added.
