TRINNY Woodall has earned a name for herself as a beauty mogul, makeover extraordinaire and fashion whizz – with her skin looking flawless through it all.
And even though she’s turning 60-years-old in February, you’d never be able to tell thanks to her skincare routine.
Trinny, whose real name is Sarah-Jane, has five pillars she lives by for glowing skin and ageless beauty.
Here, Fabulous takes a look at her top anti-ageing tips.
Double cleanse
Double cleansing has gained traction in recent years as a way to REALLY wash your face – but it’s basically just a fancy way of saying you wash your face twice.
Trinny says she has been doing the method for over 30 years to prevent ageing, as it allows her serums and moisturisers to penetrate her skin better.

“You need to make sure you get off every ounce of cleanser each night, because otherwise that can act as a barrier for ingredients to go in,” she warned.
Exfoliation cycle
Trinny says that she exfoliates every night, but uses a different acid each time – from retinol to AHA or PHA products.
“Think of PHAs as a cappuccino and AHAs as a single espresso,” Trinny writes on her website. “You’re getting similar results, or in this case, the same hit of caffeine, with both. The poly-hydroxy acids are just gentler, and less of an acquired taste.”
Chemical exfoliation removes layers of dead skin cells to plump up the face and reveal a glowing complexion.

Her typical routine is using a PHA and a retinoid one night, an AHA the following night and then every third night, she’ll use a microneedle and no acid.
Massage your face
Trinny swears by using lymphatic drainage tools at night, including her fingers to massage water retention from her face.
“I also love using tools at night, whether that’s my Gua Sha to stimulate and drain my lymph nodes or Korean massage with my hands,” she tells 7News. “Your hands can do so much to reduce the puffiness in your face.
“But if you’re using a Gua Sha, you need to remember to drain any puffiness by pushing the tool downwards and flushing out the puffiness. It’s no good just pushing it to the edge of your face and not draining it.”
Introduce Vitamin C
Best known for occurring in fruits like oranges, kiwis and cantaloupes, Vitamin C is also a crucial skincare ingredient.
In the morning, Trinny is religious about applying a product with it in, as well as taking a supplement.
“I take 3000mg of vitamin C a day and I think it’s really helpful,” she says. “It’s one of the best things you can do for your skin, not only in application, but taking it orally.”
Always apply SPF
The final step of Trinny’s skincare routine is to apply an SPF to stop any harmful effects from the sun or UV damage.
This is the key to her ageless beauty, with the £39 Trinny London BFF SPF 30 Cream being her go-to product.
