Can you tell the £2 Primark white t-shirt from the £270 Prada version?

The designer label advertised the logo piqué t-shirt on its website as part of its new season.

The all-white tee has a barely visible logo on the chest, but despite its minimal design it costs £270.

The description of the shirt says: “This white logo piqué T-shirt is crafted from cotton and features a round neck, short sleeves, a relaxed fit, a straight hem, a slim fit and a logo chest patch.”

Not just white, but the pricey shirt comes in black, navy and blue, although the full set will set you back £1,080.

In comparison, Primark sells a plain white t-shirt for just £2.

Shoppers have branded Prada ‘wrong’ for selling such a simple item of clothing for an extortionate price.

Sharing the shirt on Facebook, one person commented: “Bought by people who know the price of everything but the value of nothing.”

Another agreed, saying: “Scum. Just wrong in every way. Do I sound bitter. Damn right.”

And this person said: “Filth. Anyone who buys this might wish to buy a suitable applicator to insert t-shirt into the same crevice where their personality resides. Just sayin’.

But the t-shirt is a bargain when compared to some of the others on Prada’s website, with a plain blue t-shirt selling for £540.
