A BIT of digital nip and tuck has become so common in celebrity social media posts that sometimes the stars get a bit… sloppy.
The U.S. Sun has rounded up some of the biggest stars who've been accused of getting carried away with Photoshopping and Facetuning, rendering themselves unrecognizable.
KHOLE KARDASHIAN
Khloe Kardashian, 39, is frequently called out on social media for altering her looks to the point of looking like a different person.
In May 2020, the Kardashians star uploaded a series of photos that went viral, but not for the right reasons.
Fans said they never would have guessed they were pictures of Khloe.
Not helping her case was that the photos appeared to have been taken the same day that she shot confessionals for Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
In the reality TV scenes, Khloe — dressed in the same white bustier top with identical hair and makeup — looked much more like the star fans have grown to love.
Fans accused her of Photoshopping herself, citing as proof the fact that half of the chain on her butterfly necklace was missing from the set of pictures.
"FaceTuned [the f**] out of your necklace," one user wrote.
"Girl half of your necklace is missing," another mirrored that sentiment.

Khloe's also been called out for editing her body — and not realizing fans can tell.
In October 2022, fans criticized a photo in which there was clear warping of the wall behind her — though Khloe insisted this wasn't her handiwork.
"I never even posted this photo. Maybe my glam did but I didn't," she said.
"Also I mean…. The bent lines in the back lol please [crying from laughing emoji]."
Critics weren't convinced, pointing out that the photos were in Khloe's own Instagram feed.
TERESA GIUDICE
In July 2023, Teresa Giudice, 51, posed with other Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Jennifer Aydin, 46, and Caroline Rauseo, 51, and more friends at a Barbie birthday party.
But RHONJ fans were baffled by Teresa's face.
"Who the f**k is this? Cause that’s not you," wrote one.
"BAD PHOTOSHOP at its finest!!" wrote another, while a third commented: "It doesn’t even look like her."
Others called her "unrecognizable" and begged her to "please be real," with one quipping: "What in the Facetune is this?"
PAULA ABDUL
In December 2022, Paula Abdul, 61, posted some photos from Kathy Hilton's annual Christmas party.
Followers thought the former American Idol judge looked stunning — if not entirely herself.
In the comments section of the photo, fans took note of her youthful appearance, flawless skin, and seemingly different facial structure.
Many people thought she looked unrecognizable, with some voicing that she looked like a teenager.
"Did the account get hacked? Who am I even looking at?" one commenter wrote.
"Wow. I don't understand this. Everyone knows what you actually look like. The amount of editing here is embarrassingly obvious," another said.
"Paula, you’re beautiful. There’s no need to edit your photos to the point that people don’t recognize you," one more fan said.
MADONNA
Madonna, 64, stumped fans when she posted an Instagram snap of a woman who, at first glance, appeared decades younger.
Madonna kept her eyes closed and hugged a giant bouquet of pink roses, one very smooth side of her face visible.
"Who made your face?" asked one follower.
"Who’s that girl? No seriously, who is that? lol," wrote another.
Others guessed that the woman was a teenager or even a pre-teen: "How many filters dies one need yo make them look as though they are 12 years old?"
KRIS JENNER
In 2014, bemused Kardashian fans were stumped by a photo that Kris Jenner, 67, posed for with chef Gordon Ramsey, 56, then posted on Instagram.
Ramsey posted the same photo to his feed — but while he appeared to leave his as-is, Kris seemed to fully embrace the Facetune app.
It wasn't long before the reality TV matriarch became the butt of jokes.
"Is it just me or is she visiting him at the wax museum?" asked one fan, while another wrote: "Chacha real smooth."
The image inspired plenty of headlines, too, including "What Did Kris Jenner Do to Gordon Ramsay's Face?!" from E! News.
Seven years later, BuzzFeed looked back: "Please Join Me As I Remember The Time Kris Jenner Heavily Photoshopped Gordon Ramsay's Face."
But it wouldn't be the last time Kris' face was FaceTuned beyond recognition.
In August of 2023, the matriarch's makeup artist, Samer Khouzami, shared several snaps of a woman who looked a lot like Kris — but remarkably blurred around the edges.
While it's unclear who edited the pictures — Kris or Samer — it set off alarm bells that someone got carried away with FaceTune.
KENDALL JENNER
While at Coachella in 2022, Hailey Bieber, 26, and Kendall Jenner, 27,took some photos together.
In one such photo, many fans pointed out that they felt Kendall's face looked quite different.
Concerned fans took to the r/KUWTK sub on Reddit to discuss the pic that was allegedly altered.

"She doesn’t even look like herself WTF. Please hire someone to Photoshop your pictures, Kendall," one person wrote.
"Kendall looks like an alien in a human mask," a second person said.
Kim Kardashian’s editing oops
She may not have made herself look like a different person entirely, but Kim Kardashian, 42, has ignored countless accusations of Photoshop over the years.
In 2022, a savvy TikTok user Caroline in the City, a commercial photographer and digital media literacy expert, explained why she thought believed Kim had Photoshopped her neck in a pool shot.
She said Kim removed the trapezius muscle from her neck and shoulders in an attempt to make her back look smaller.
