Other years of the Dragon

The Dragon in the zodiac is the sign used for those born in 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, and 2024.

Dragons are said to be noble, full of luck, and very talented.

Some notable Fire Dragons are Ryan Reynolds, Reese Witherspoon, and Blake Shelton.

Characteristics and personalities of the Fire Dragon

Rock-solid charmer, with some ego, the Fire Dragon can be terribly impulsive and their self-belief knows no bounds.

There is no doubting the charm of these characters, it has to be said – the world revolves around them.

You either tag along for the ride or fall off the wagon somewhere along the line.

But they don’t care – there'll be plenty of other suitors waiting to board the Fire Dragon express.

The Dragon exudes playfulness and decadence, and an inherent leaning toward life's pleasures.

So much so that they can, very easily, supersede ambition, direction, and focus and, tragically enough, very often do.

So it sometimes takes a while for these boys to locate their vocation, for them to think to themselves, "Oh yeah, career?"

But they are so charming, so charismatic and so endearing – despite their ego – that they eventually manage to crack it.

Types of Dragons

Water Dragon: Persevering, knowledgeable, and vigorous.

Wood Dragon: Introverted, less enthusiastic, and lacks good relationships.

Fire Dragon: Smart, unreliable, very easygoing.

Earth Dragon: Intelligent, ambitious, and hardworking.

Metal Dragon: Natural and straightforward, unpredictable with continually changing emotions.

Dragons are most compatible with the Rat, Tiger, or Monkeys.

They are goal oriented and quick to their feet.

Rats, Dragons, and Monkeys are a good combination when working together as they all possess courage and are cunning.

The Rat is also highly reliable and humorous which makes the Dragon crave that good energy.

Conversely, the Dragon is least compatible with the Ox, Goat, and Dog.

Mentally, both the Dragon and the Ox are headstrong and stubborn which makes them unable to compromise.

The Goat and Dog can create a passive-aggressive environment for the Dragon and it can be the reason why fights will always occur in their union.
