A WOMAN has revealed the simplest method to keep your shower looking sparkling clean without much effort.
Kendra Hennessy is the owner of Mother Like A Boss, which helps people with the tools and information they need to do a deep clean of their house.
With over a decade of experience, she often uses her social media account to share her nifty tips and tricks.
Standing in her bathroom, she said: “You want the best shower cleaning hack from a professional? Clean the shower while you’re taking a shower.
“I’ve been sharing this hack for like 17 years… Some love it, some hate it and some are already doing it.”
She went on to share that some people react to this piece of advice with ‘woah, that’s genius’ while others think ‘ew, I’m not gonna do that’.

Kendra went on to explain that she can’t clean her shower every time she takes one.
“I also don’t deep clean my shower while I’m in there, for a variety of different reasons,” she shared.
“Number one being that I don’t advocate for you to spray a bunch of chemicals in your shower while you are in there with the hot water, breathing it in… Absolutely not.”
But, she said, that cleaning while in the shower is “excellent for maintenance”.

“Let’s use my own shower, for example,” she continued. “Large tile, small tile, tile on the floor… There’s grout everywhere, plus there’s glass, which is super annoying to clean.
“One thing that I have kept in my shower that I have always kept in my shower and in every house that I’ve ever lived in as an adult is a Magic Eraser.”
TikTok user @themotherlikeaboss explained that she doesn’t use any product, she only uses the eraser to get rid of the scum marks from the glass and tiles.
She said it’s to “get off some of the stubborn water stains or hard water that’s on it in between the times where I might do a more deep clean”.
Kendra said the second tool she keeps in her shower is a big Oxo brush, which helps clean the grout.
She said: “Taking two to five minutes to do this once a week while in the shower makes it so much easier when I actually do a deeper clean.”
The cleaning expert added that it saves her a lot of time and energy.
Kendra added that you should get a squeegee to keep in the bathroom too as this will take all the excess water off the glass, preventing hard water stains.
In the caption, she wrote: “This hack is a NON-negotiable for me. For a task that can be overwhelming, cleaning while you’re already IN the shower makes it”.
A Magic Eraser is just £3 from Sainsbury's while an OXO brush costs just £6 on Amazon. A squeegee, meanwhile, can be purchased online for as little as £1.
People were quick to comment on the video as one person wrote: “I do this. I also use the time to deep condition my hair.”
Another shared: “I have used magic sponge on the doors, finally figured that out. I have also been known to use shampoo to clean the walls”.
“Omg .. I’ve been doing this since I was a teen .. got my mom off my back,” a third said.
While a fourth added: “Every shower I use the squeegee and then wipe everything down with a towel. No hard water stains to be found.”
According to The Spruce, the shower should be deep cleaned every week.
However, "if you do 60 seconds of maintenance each time you use the shower, you can stretch the more extensive cleaning to two weeks."
The experts also said: "It's better to clean a shower right after it has been used.
