A SAVVY woman has revealed how she gave her yard a face lift by building her very own privacy fence.
She added a home accessory that only took 20 minutes to install and elevated the space.
Olivia Claridge (@olive.bloom) filmed herself working on the fence in a video on TikTok.
"One of the top comments that I got was that I should do solar power lights on my fence. And so I got a set.
"I didn't get the post hoppers that everyone suggested, but I did get some that will attach to the rails," she said.
The set is called the Jackyled Solar Fence Lights, retailing for $59.99 from Amazon.
"The light looks pretty strong, in my opinion, and there's eight in the set, so I went outside to attach them," she said.
She showed a clip of herself outside screwing the lights into the privacy fence.
"It comes with this nice little template. It so you can just put the screws exactly where they need to go. I took the peel off the solar power light, and then you just slide it right on.
"It probably took me about 20 minutes to do this whole thing. There's only eight, so I try to space them evenly throughout my fence," she said.

Olivia said that the lights automatically turn on and off depending on the time of day.
"I wanted to see exactly when they turned off and it's kind of like right at dusk when they do. And then this was like at pure nighttime.
"I love how subtle it looks. It doesn't give off as much light as I thought it would, which I like because I didn't want a ton of light pollution," she said.
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts in the comment section.
"So pretty," one viewer commented. "I'd put one on each section."
"I really like them," another chimed in.
The video came as part of a trend where more people are looking into DIY projects to spruce up their homes.
