I got a tummy tuck and BBL mommy makeover but risked ruining my butt three weeks later at Disney, it was rough & painful | The Sun

A MOMMY makeover has gone wrong in a painful way after a trip to Disney World.

After undergoing plastic surgery, the mother's cosmetic results were on the line.

Alexis (@mommashive) filmed herself detailing the BBL blunder in a video on TikTok.

"I sat on my butt accidentally after my BBL at Disney,"the text read.

She explained how the issue occurred at the amusement park.

"I just royally f**ked up, I forgot my pillow, I got locked into the seat, and I had to kind of sit on my butt, hold my body up," she said.

"I'm only three and a half weeks post-op," she added. "That was rough and painful."

A Brazilian butt lift refers to a cosmetic procedure which transfers fat cells from another area of the body, typically the midsection, to the buttocks to create a curvier sillhouette.

While different plastic surgeons have their own post-operative recommendations for optimal results, many agree waiting at least six weeks before sitting down again.

The reason those who undergo a BBL are typically discouraged from sitting is to keep the transferred fat cells from being killed off by pressure.

Many circumvent the no-sitting instructions by investing in a "BBL pillow," a special cushion that keeps the weight off the buttocks while making sitting more comfortable.

In yet another video, Alexis revealed that she had a tummy tuck as well, sharing a follow-up to the Disney debacle.

"I'm officially four weeks post-op of my BBL and my tummy tuck revision," she said.

She added that while the issue at Disney hurt, she is regaining her strength.

The family-of-five also booked two days at the theme park due to a deep discount on tickets.

"In general, from last weekend Disney to this weekend Disney, it's been way easier," she said.

"I can breathe better. It's no big deal to walk around. I'm not in pain at the end of the day.

"I'm excited to get my full endurance back, so I can go back hiking and go out adventure," she added.
