A SAVVY man has revealed the realities of living off-grid, shattering misconceptions about comfort.
He claimed that residing in a tent in a jungle is so snug that he sleeps like a baby even during stormy weather.
Derek (@offgridsecrets) filmed himself out in nature explaining his sustainable lifestyle in a video on TikTok.
"This tent behind me is the absolute best tent in the entire world. And let me show you why," he raved.
The tent appeared no different at first glance than the average portable camping abode.
"So I just spent the entire night in this, in the most intense rainstorm I've ever gone through my life," he said.
"And because of that yellow outside cover, I slept like an absolute baby," he added.
Derek shared what separates the tent from others — a see-through roof.
"This is my favorite feature of this tent. As you lay here, you get the whole moon roof. It's completely open," he said.
"Obviously, I've taken off the cover, so it's not, not waterproof, but guys, when I laid here last night and I looked up, the full moon right here all night long was so incredible.

"Also, the rain last night, if I didn't have this, would have been so much trouble.
"Because I started the night like this, and when I woke up in the middle of the night, it was raining.
"I threw this on, slept like an absolute baby. Oh, my God. And then look, these things here. See these poles?
"Like, the most high quality camping poles ever. They're all aluminum and they snap together, so it's so high quality," he added of the tent's accessories.
The camping fan even compared the gear to having a car instead of a regular tent.
"Double doors, full moon roof. It's like a car, actually. This thing is so cool," he raved.
