I lost 150 lbs – my air fryer 'pepperoni pizzas’ are a favorite, they’re just 170 calories and ready in four minutes | The Sun

A BODYBUILDER has revealed how she could still enjoy pizza while on a weight loss plan that helped her to lose 150 pounds.

Emma Hooker (@emmaa.getsfitt) wowed her 674,000 TikTok followers with an easy recipe for making a low-calorie pizza at home.

The fitness coach, who once tipped the scales at 330 pounds, has been sharing exercise and nutrition advice after overhauling her own lifestyle.

She went viral online after revealing the 170-calorie tortilla pizza recipe she ate throughout her weight loss journey.

Emma demonstrated how she made the meaty pizza by first listing the ingredients needed.

“Corn tortilla, tomato paste, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni,” read the text over the video.

She used a knife to evenly place the tomato paste across the tortilla before sprinkling a light layer of cheese.

Emma then placed six slices of pepperoni on top and placed it in the air fryer at 375 degrees for four minutes.

“One of my FAV! Save this and try it out!” she captioned the post.

The delicious pizza oozed cheese as Emma bit into it and held her head back in delight.

Over 34,000 people watched the video and commenters admitted they are eager to try the recipe for themselves.

One person wrote: “Those look sooo good.”

Another commented: “Best weight loss snack. I use turkey pepperoni.”

A third said: “Okay but blend cottage cheese and mix it with your pizza sauce. So delish!”

A fourth added: “It’s like an adult lunchable, sometimes I’ll make a BBQ chicken version.”

The post came after Emma spoke candidly about battling with depression and sickness while being overweight for most of her life.

After breaking her foot in August 2020, she vowed to swap crash dieting for a sustainable diet and exercise regimen.

She is now a fitness coach who helps other people lose weight and has recently placed second in an amateur bodybuilding competition.

"I made it my goal to not only lose weight but to improve my relationship with food and myself,” Emma said.
