FEW things make a bathroom look more grubby than dirty, tired flooring.
Collected dirt and water-staining makes a room look grimy, and no matter the amount of scrubbing, it often just looks a bit unhygienic.
That’s what drove one crafty DIYer to give her bathroom floor a complete overhaul – and she managed the whole project using some cheap self-adhesive panels you can pick up in B&M.
Kat is an influencer with almost 79k TikTok followers, and regularly shares affordable homeware and fashion finds on her account @HomeWithKat_.
And in a recent clip, she showed off her impressive DIY floor job that she completed for less than £30.
The interior whizz began by writing: “Let’s rip up this years-old stained floor… Been waiting for this moment since I moved in…”

She revealed a close up of the grotty original floor, before filming herself using a sharp tool to rip it up and reveal the concrete base underneath.
Kat then showed off a spray bottle of Evo-Stick’s Impact Instant Contact Adhesive, which you can pick up from homeware stores for less than a fiver.
The savvy DIYer then showed herself applying the product to the back of wood-look panels, before carefully sticking them down in neat rows.
She also showed off a nifty Amazon tool – the AI Gear Contour Gauge Duplicator – which she used to trace exactly the right shape of panel she needed to fit around tricky areas like the sink base, before carefully cutting perfect pieces with kitchen scissors.

Kat finished her video with a shot of the bathroom before and after, with the space instantly looking much bigger and cleaner after her nifty job.
The influencer shared about more about her project in the caption, revealing: “I am SO chuffed with myself!!!”
She revealed she’d bought a pack of 35 panels, but only used 18, meaning she “could have got the 20 pack for under £20!”
The savvy shopper revealed you can pick them up from the likes of Amazon, B&Q, The Range and B&M, adding “there’s so many styles and colours available!”
“I’m so pleased with my bargain flooring!!” the happy homeowner concluded.
Viewers were super impressed by the result, telling Kat that her revamp “looks brilliant” and that she “smashed it”.
Vinyl panels and adhesive flooring is a handy way to spruce up your room if you don’t want to splash out on getting a builder or handyman to fit a whole new floor.
Savvy TikTokers have shown off the gorgeous results they’ve achieved everywhere from their hallways to their kitchens using the cheap product you can pick up from most discount stores.
