HER wedding dress has been in storage for the past 26 years.

But when she finally got it home, one woman couldn't resist trying it on.

She took to TikTok to share a video of herself trying to "squeeze back into" her dress from her 1996 nuptials.

The teacher added that she loved the dress so much that she was even considering getting it shortened and dyed so that she could wear it again.

"If I wanted to do that, I do know a seamstress who's amazing, who could cut this to tea length and take out some of the crinolines," she mused.

"But do you think I should?"

"The fact that you’re considering getting it reworked to wear again means you absolutely should do exactly that!" one person commented on the video.

"We have to create a 'wear you wedding dress day' – so sad that we pay so much money just to wear the dress just one day," another added.
