A WEDDING guest proudly revealed how she turned some old bed sheets into her dream outfit for a pal’s big day – but people were quick to slam it for being “too bridal.”
The talented woman shared how she had thrifted the bed sheets and then made a two-piece outfit consisting of a strappy top and skirt.
The fabric had a floral design, with a pink paisley pattern on white fabric.
Taking to Reddit, the woman wrote: “Turned this thrifted bed sheet into a two piece wedding guest outfit!”
She showed herself modelling the DIY wedding outfit and the finished look was impressive.
However, despite the stylish design, people were quick to take issue with the colour.

One defended her, saying: “I think it’s totally fine! I think all white is where it’s weird. I would never have thought twice about this piece!”
A second replied: “I feel like if you wore something like this and a bride was upset, I probably don’t want to be your friend anyways..too high maintenance and self centred.”
The woman responded to the criticism in the comments, and said she hadn’t thought about the colour.
She said: “Oh interesting! I didn’t even consider it being white. It’s very patterned in person.
“The wedding is also in the south of France and toile de Jouy is very French so I think a lot of people will wear this pattern.”
