“First up, a firm favourite – bentonite clay.
“I'm not gonna give quantities because it will be up to you how much face wash you wanna make.
“So, yeah, bentonite clay. Next up, rose water. This is what makes it smell absolutely divine.
“And then we’re just gonna add some water to get it to the right consistency.”

As she added the ingredients together, she continued: “Pour some [bentonite clay] into your bowl depending on how much you wanna make.
“Then [add] rose water. You don't need too much of this. This is more for scent. And then water.
“So it's not sloppy, but it's not really, really stiff either.
“I've now transferred that into a jar and I'll keep that in the bathroom next to the sink.”
Kate then applied her face wash, as she shared: “[Using] your fingers just rub it in like you would a face wash.
“It's not as thick as it would be if you're using a mask, so don't worry about that.
“And we're not gonna keep it on for any amount of time because it is a wash, it's not a mask.
“And then I do my neck as well. So, yeah, this is it and then literally rinse it off and finish with your favourite face oil.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @yourmategingerkate, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 15,500 views.
Social media users were stunned at the face wash tutorial and many were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “I will be making this later!!”
Another added: “This is great, was going to ask you what face wash you use, will be trying this.”
A third commented: “I ordered my clay, rose water and aloe vera today because of you!”
Meanwhile, someone else asked: “What is the clay for???”
To this, Kate confirmed: “It’s going to cleanse your skin and get rid of any impurities. I only use it in the evening.”
At the same time, another user questioned: “What about the eyes? Mascara etc?”
