Or you can be the busy mum, no time for nonsense, need a jacket that serves a purpose puffer person who will wear your Mountain Warehouse number with everything for every occasion. 

You know, if you’re heading out for a drinks with your mates you’ll put on your floral midi dress and grab your Michelin Man jacket on the way out the door.

They scream that you’re a busy, hard-working mum that needs something she can rely on – a jacket that works.

Not some shower proof jacket that serves no purpose once a drop of rain hits it.

A proper coat that will keep you warm, dry and go with everything. 

SHACKET 

The ‘Shacket’, a hybrid piece of clothing that's somewhere in between a shirt and a jacket.

Usually a little thicker, a little longer and has more protective qualities – meaning if it's really windy or wet a shacket should do the trick. 

If your go-to cover up is a shacket you’re the kind of person who is always ready for anything and you like to look good whilst doing so. 

Less bulky than a puffer but more substantial than a denim jacket the shacket gives even the simplest of outfits an edge.

And it makes others think you’ve thought about what you’re wearing but the reality is you haven’t.

You’ve got too much on your plate to be worrying about your outfit but a shacket will always do the trick.  

BOMBER 

From Rihanna to Hailey Bieber bomber jackets are the boomerang item that you should always hold onto as they come back around – and this season they’re back. 

From Zara’s viral wooly number or their other sell out with padded shoulders to voluminous styles that look like an inflated bin bag – they’re a big trend in jacket land. 

Is a bomber your must have? 

You’re likely to be someone who really cares about their appearance and always has their finger on the fashion pulse. 

You’re glued to social media and always want to know what's hot and what's not – and you always look your best no matter what. 

LEATHER 

Leather jackets have a very long history and are one of the most versatile items you can have in your wardrobe and one you should never throw away. 

They’re a classic and have been in fashion in every era since the 1900s. Yes they’re that old. 

But old by no means means that you’re look is. 

Molly-Mae Hauge started a Matrix effect of twenty-something girls wearing that jacket earlier this year and top designers like Coach have also sent models down the runway in leather clad looks.
