I’m a piercer and here are the pain levels for the most popular ear piercings… your lobe is a piece of cake | The Sun

A PROFESSIONAL piercer has revealed the most painful ear piercings to get – and your earlobe is right at the bottom of the list.

"Pain levels of different ear piercings," the pros at Metal Morphosis wrote over a video on TikTok.

"Lobe 2/10," they began.

If you get a helix piercing – through the upper ear cartilage – you can expect a pain level of around five out of 10.

It's the same for a flat piercing – which is higher than a helix, through the thicker cartilage at the top part of the ear – and a tragus piercing, which goes through the piece of ear in front of the ear canal.

A conch piercing, which involves a hole being punctured right through the middle of the ear, hurts around six out of 10.

I’m covered in piercings – people say I’ll regret it but I think I look hot

To have a daith piercing, which hugs the inner cartilage of the ear, would be a pain level of around 6.5 out of 10.

And the most painful ear piercing, in their opinion, is the industrial.

This involves two piercings in one – with a straight barbell connecting the piercings between the helix and the anti helix.

"Who agrees with this one?" they captioned the TikTok video.

"Just our opinion and what our clients say! Everyone feels pain differently."

"industrial 10/10 i almost passed out," one commented on the video.

"Daith 10000/10 for me," another insisted.

"I’ve never felt any pain and I have 3 face piercings, and 10 ear piercings," a third wrote.
