A PROFESSIONAL piercer has revealed the most painful ear piercings to get – and your earlobe is right at the bottom of the list.
"Pain levels of different ear piercings," the pros at Metal Morphosis wrote over a video on TikTok.
"Lobe 2/10," they began.
If you get a helix piercing – through the upper ear cartilage – you can expect a pain level of around five out of 10.
It's the same for a flat piercing – which is higher than a helix, through the thicker cartilage at the top part of the ear – and a tragus piercing, which goes through the piece of ear in front of the ear canal.
A conch piercing, which involves a hole being punctured right through the middle of the ear, hurts around six out of 10.

To have a daith piercing, which hugs the inner cartilage of the ear, would be a pain level of around 6.5 out of 10.
And the most painful ear piercing, in their opinion, is the industrial.
This involves two piercings in one – with a straight barbell connecting the piercings between the helix and the anti helix.
"Who agrees with this one?" they captioned the TikTok video.
