KFC Crocs are here for those moments you want your feet to look like buckets of chicken

In probably the least expected turn of events for New York Fashion Week, KFC has partnered with Crocs to create a brand new shoe.

If you thought Crocs-mania had died down, you’d be completely mistaken. Instead, it’s got way, way wilder.

The limited-edition Crocs – also created alongside ad agency Weiden + Kennedy – are a level up from the Balenciaga Crocs that debuted in 2017 and flew off the shelves (despite costing over £600).

Like the Balenciaga options, these have a high platform (although you can get the smaller ones). However, these ones are also designed to look exactly like a bucket of chicken.

The upper part of the shoe is printed with original recipe pieces, while the platform itself is made to look like the striped bucket part.

Perfect for those days when you feel your outfit just isn’t chicken-ey enough.

Not only that, but the kicks come with chicken-scented clip-ons – or Jibbitz to Croc connoiseurs – that you can add for those days when you want to mask your foot smell with poultry smell.

The footwear is being marketed with an admittedly cool video that sees the new KFC Crocs coming straight out the fryer and a tagline of ‘Not for human consumption’.

‘We’re honored to feature this fashion-forward style between two iconic American brands at one of New York’s biggest weeks in fashion that promises to surprise and delight consumers around the globe.’
