Sparklers are a create way for all ages to enjoy the 5th November, even if they aren't a fan of fireworks.
But they have to be used with care, and get extremely hot when they are burning.
So, instead of getting your little one to hold the sparkler by its metal end, pop it in a carrot, and get them to hold the veggie instead.
Clare took to her TikTok page to share the clever hack, admitting she wishes she'd known it when her kids were little.
In the clip, she showed herself snapping a carrot in half, before putting the end of the sparkler into it and holding like that as she lit and enjoyed it.

And the carrot hack isn't the only way you can ensure a safe bonfire night for your whole family.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) has shared some crucial sparkler safety tips on their website.
Firstly, they advise not giving sparklers to any child under five.
Make sure that everyone handling the sparklers wears gloves, and don't wave them about close to other people.
"Hold sparklers at arm’s length while being lit and light them one at a time," they added.
"Never hold a baby in your arms while you are holding a sparkler," was another tip.
And when you're done with the sparkler, put it in a bucket of cold water to ensure it's fully extinguished.
Once they've cooled down, or even the next day, you can safely dispose of them.
It's also important to read the label on the sparklers you buy, to check whether they are indoor or outdoor ones.
"It's vital to only use sparklers indoors if they are specifically designed for that purpose (it will be clear from the label)," a post on the UKFR.com website for firework guides and advice reads.
"Outdoor sparklers are not suitable for indoor use as they emit too much smoke, especially the coloured varieties."
Other tips include don't try and relight a sparkler if it appears to be a "dud" – just put it in the water bucket with the rest of them.
It's also advised to wear long sleeves and closed-toe shoes when handling sparklers, to avoid any injuries due to mishaps.
