Queen Letizia dazzles in favourite £119 dress

Queen Letizia joined the Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, as they presided over the institutional act of World Mental Health Day 2022 today, October 5. The royal was deemed the appropriate person for the job as Honorary President of UNICEF Spain and Ombudswoman for Child and Adolescent Mental Health. This year’s Mental Health Day in Spain carries the slogan: “Dale like a la salud mental. For the right to grow in wellbeing.”

Queen Letizia glowed in a Massimo Dutti confetti dress, which was navy blue and dotted with red, blue, and white flecks.

The royal has worn the dress many times before, incluing to greet audiences at Zarzuela Palace in February 2021.

Letizia first wore the ensemble in 2019, during a state visit to South Korea, and then again in January 2020 at the FITUR International Tourism Fair in Madrid.

Always a fan of recycling her wardrobe, Letizia’s confetti-print dress cost £119 – an affordable price compared to some garments worn by British and European royals.

Letizia accessorised with brown Magrit heels and a matching brown clutch by the same designer.

These were the same shoes Letizia wore back in 2021, and so it seems the royal believes they go well with the dress.

Massimo Dutti is a Spanish luxury clothing label and has been favoured by both Letizia and Kate, the Princess of Wales over the years.

One of Letizia’s most notable Massimo Dutti dresses is a dark red, wine-coloured item she has been seen wearing on many an occasion in the past – usually paired with a black Burberry belt.

For today’s outing in Madrid, Letizia’s dark locks were tousled in natural waves and she wore light auburn eyeshadow, lashings of black mascara, and a slick of lipgloss.

As for jewellery, she donned Gold and Roses’ Shewel Triple Hoops, which are gold and studded with silver diamonds.

These seem to be the Spanish Queen’s favourite earrings as she has worn them on repeat in recent days.

She also wore her usual gold, oval-shaped ring on the index finger of her left hand.

Royal fans were quick to comment on Letizia’s understated but classy look.
