Queen Letizia style: Spanish royal recycles dress for conference on rare diseases

Queen Letizia of Spain is known for wearing some of the most gorgeous pieces from her wardrobe, and the Spanish monarch decided to recycle one of her looks today as she attended a conference in Burgos, Spain. The 47-year-old could be seen wearing one of her favourite dresses – a printed silk number from Parisian brand Sandro. The elegant blue and white printed dress, which is now sold out, had long sleeves and fell just above her ankles. She teamed the dress with a pair of patent beige point toes heels, which added height to her petite frame, and a thin black belt which accentuated her waist.

Opting for a natural look, she sported light brown eyeshadow, bronzed cheeks and a nude lip.

She wore her brunette locks down in a soft wave with her trade mark middle part.

Letizia was visiting the State Reference Centre of attention to People with Rare Diseases and their families.

Upon arriving at the venue, she met with staff who took her around the facilities.

The centre is committed to promote research and study on rare diseases as well as the training of professionals who care for patients are their families.

It also provides direct care for people affected by a rare conditions and their families, as well as their caregiver.

This isn’t the first time the royal has worn this gorgeous dress.

She debuted the blue patterned gown at the Proyectos Sociales De Banco Santander awards in May, and repeated the style only a few weeks later in June at the Discapnet awards recently revealed how Letizia has taken style inspiration from the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

Queen Letizia has been the Queen consort of Spain since her husband, Felipe VI, 51, became king in 2014. As the Spanish monarch, she will often pick outfits from her stunning wardrobe to perform her royal duties.

Kate Middleton, 37, is the Duchess of Cambridge who is likely to become Queen consort in the UK and also has a chic wardrobe.

Both royals have incredible style and have worn similar outfits on various occasions, showing they could be taking tips from each other.

In 2015, the Queen of Spain cut a chic look in a fitted white jacket and matching pencil skirt while in Rome, Italy.

Four years earlier, Kate was a vision in white wearing a similar fitted jacket and skirt combo white at the Derby festival.

While attending the National Fashion awards in Madrid last year, the Spanish monarch showed off her incredible style in a red midi dress which had puffy sleeves.

During a trip to Berlin in 2017, the Duchess of Cambridge opted for a red pleated gown which also had puffy sleeves.
