A BLACKBURN local has insisted living in the industrial town is like being in "the trenches".
Amid the news that Marks & Spencer is going to be closing their branch in the town centre, Aria took to TikTok to share one of the worst parts of living in Blackburn – the smell.
Walking around with her top covering her mouth and nose, Aria added a green, nauseous emoji.
Her friend also covered their face with their hoodie.
"POV: Walking around Blackburn," she wrote over the top of the video.
Adding in the caption: "Then they ask why I don't leave my house!"

"We lived there," another added.
To which Aria replied: "Can't wait till I escape these trenches."
"People come from all around to shop there!!" a third said.

It was revealed over the weekend that M&S would be shutting down its branch in King William Street, Blackburn, after decades on the high street.
An exact date for the closure, which first opened in the 1980s, is yet to be confirmed.
Customers have been left stunned by the decision, with many taking to social media to share their shock.
Commenting on Facebook, one shopper said: "The town will be on its knees if M&S disappears."
Another fumed: "Are you frigging joking? This is literally the only reason I go to Blackburn town centre this is a JOKE NOW!!!"
A third wrote: "The death of Blackburn's high street. (It’s the only decent shop that is left)."
And a fourth added: "This better not happen! What about the people who find it hard getting out and about, doing their regular shopping there??
"This is a well loved store at the heart of the town centre that's easily accessible. Blackburn town centre wouldn't be the same."
However, M&S is said to be considering a move to Frontier Park – on the outskirts of Blackburn – following the closure of the King William Street store.
