A WOMAN has revealed how she transformed her council house kitchen on a budget using bargain buys – and saved herself "thousands" in the process.
The savvy DIY whizz, known only as Mich, budgeted under £600 to give her tired-looking council house kitchen a modern update – and people can't believe how good it looks.
In a clip shared to TikTok (@fajolu_family_home), she shows off the dull, cream-coloured room before the impressive makeover – and it's fair to say it was in desperate need of some TLC.
She then reveals the finished results, with the oak cupboards wrapped in a modern white vinyl, the once black worktop surface now boasting a super stylish grey and white marble-effect pattern and a fresh set of rectangular white tiles.
Mich also gave the walls a lick of paint using matt Dulux pure brilliant white.
The savvy woman captioned the post: "Love a transformation," followed by a love heart eye emoji.
