For more detailed tips on how to create the perfect Adele-inspired flicks, follow these easy steps from the makeup experts at Justmylook…
1. Use a light brown eyeshadow to emphasise the crease of your eye
Using your favourite light brown eyeshadow and fluffy eyeshadow brush, lightly sweep the colour in the socket of your eye. Start off with a little product then build up the colour by going back in and adding more powder, blending until there are no harsh lines.
2. Create the eyeliner outline
Taking a black liquid liner with a super-fine tip, mark a dot at the end of your outer lash line. Keeping your eye open, mark another dot where you would like the wing to finish. Keeping your eye open again, draw a straight line and match up the two dots you have drawn. Repeat on the other eye.
3. Complete the wing
Closing the eye you’re working on, draw the eyeliner along your lash line from the inner corner to the outer edge. This will take you to the base of the wing. From here, you can make the wing as thin or thick as you like. To get Adele’s famous look, go slightly thicker.
4. Choose your favourite pair of false eyelashes
For the final step, choose some fluffy dramatic lashes and measure them to the size of your eye, then cut the lashes so they fit. Using eyelash glue that dries either clear is perfect for this look, as it won’t take away from the gorgeous wing you have just created.
