All the signs Love Island’s Jess and Sammy had split from solo holiday to Instagram refresh

Just three months after winning series 10 of the much loved reality show Love Island, fans were shocked to learn that Jess Harding and Sammy Root have called time on their relationship.

Since bagging the £50,000 prize money and embarking on a whirlwind new life together as reality stars, the couple seemed to be going from strength to strength – that is until now, after an insider revealed to MailOnline that "they're better off as friends."

So, as fans come to terms with the sudden breakup, we've done a little digging for any potential signs that could have predicted the split sooner…

They've not been seen together recently

Eagle eyed fans will know that the last time Sammy and Jess posed for pics together was three weeks ago at the National Television Awards in London.

Since then, it's been pretty bare on the photo front, with no follow up press snaps of the two looking loved up.

They've also not posted any snaps together on social media for a while, both on their Instagram grids or to their Stories.

Jess has gone on a solo holiday

A few days ago, Jess hopped on a plane to sunny Ibiza to catch some autumn sun, however, fans noticed that she was flying solo on her trip. As in, her boyfriend Sammy was nowhere to be seen.

After receiving comments from fans asking how she and Sammy were doing, Jess promptly turned her comments off, which led to speculation there may be trouble in paradise.

Jess has removed her pinned posts with Sammy on Instagram

While snaps of the couple on Jess' grid still remain (again, the last one was on the 6th September at the NTAs), the beauty mogul has since deleted all of her pinned posts with Sammy.

Alongside this, all of her highlighted Stories with him have disappeared too.

Likewise, Jess doesn't appear on any of Sammy's pinned posts, and the last photo of them together on his grid is on holiday early last month.

They revealed they didn't have any plans after the show

Unlike other Love Island winners who professed their love for each other after the show and talked enthusiastically about their future (see: Ekin-Su and Davide spoke about moving in together), Jess and Sammy have been a little quiet on that front.

However, you could just put that down to them being young and living life in moment.

But in terms of their prize money, both revealed they have no plans on how they're thinking of spending it. At The Sun's Who Cares Wins awards last month, Sammy confessed that they're "both very, very busy," while Jess admitted that it's still early days.

"It’s still so early, I feel like we just haven’t had any time to do that," she said of the £50,000.
