AMAZON is currently offering an eye-catching deal on a major Android smartphone.
Shoppers are currently dashing to pick up the Google Pixel 7, which has been reduced from £599 to £407 in a 32% price drop.

We spotted this discount on Amazon's best-selling mobiles page – always a good place to go scouting for great deals on SIM-free handsets.
With a discount of almost £200, we're not exactly surprised this has proved a major hit with Amazon shoppers.
The last time we saw this 2022 release from Google on sale was mid-October, when the Pixel 7 fell to a record low of £405 for Amazon Prime Day.

This new sale price isn't quite as good – but hey, we're talking about a couple of quid here.
Google has really stepped up to the bat in the past few years with its formidable line of Android smartphones (the Pixel 7 was released in October 2022, and was only supplanted as flagship a month ago).
They're never quite captivated the industry in the same way as Samsung's S series or Apple's iPhones.
But one standout features that the last few generations of Pixel have all possessed is a very impressive price tag, with SIM-free RRPs considerable lower than that of equivalent models from rival brands.
(By contrast, the iPhone 14, which was released a month before the Pixel 7, costs £649 SIM-free on Amazon.)
Now a generation old, the Pixel 7 has shaped up to be one of the foremost options for Android buyers who are looking a handset with a credible range of up-to-date features, but are still spending on a fairly tight budget.
It's currently got an average rating of 4.3 out of 5 on Amazon, with reviews largely positive.
One shoppers says: 'As soon as you boot up the Pixel 7 you can feel the quality of it, from the keyboard to the camera… The camera takes crystal-clear pictures with plenty of functionality for more advanced video and picture-taking.'
Another is more reserved about the battery performance, remarking it drains more quickly than expect, but also concedes that the Pixel 7 is the 'best-value phone on the market'.
Another buyer writes: 'I'm really enjoying my first week with my Pixel 7… beautiful rich OLED screen which gives true blacks.'
It's not impossible that this mobile will get cheaper during the Black Friday sales at the end of November – but if it does, our guess is not by that much.

If you're hunting for an out-and-out budget option, we'd point you towards the older Pixel 6, which hit the market a year earlier and currently costs £332 on Amazon.
