A balding bloke was left beaming with confidence after a hair transformation knocked years off his appearance.
Adam Gibson had been struggling with his self image for years after he started losing his hair in his twenties. He always wanted to do something about it after seeing adverts about hair systems on Facebook but worried about what other people thought.
But, now in his 30s, he decided to take the plunge and ignore trolls' opinions. So, he booked in for an appointment with Rob Wood at the hair system company Novo Cabelo Hair in Gateshead.

In the video, which was shared online by @novocabelohair, Adam is seen sitting in the chair explaining just how long he has waited for his glow up.
The martial arts instructor said: "When I say years, it's been eight, nine, 10 years [of thinking about getting a hair system]. Since the start, really, of the systems coming into play.
"And I think for a lot of time it was more about what people would think than what I would feel like. I think that I'm at a stage now where I don't care what people think. I've got enough support and love around me that they're the ones that matter."
The bloke was then given a hair system, which will last 4 to 6 weeks, that perfectly blended with the grey areas he had around the sides and styles with gel. He was so stunned by his new look in the mirror that he couldn't resist touching it or sharing a beaming smile with the camera.
Since sharing the clip on TikTok, Adam said: "Walking in to @hiddenheightsstudio feeling a little nervous walking out feeling the most confident I have in years! Thank you so much @Novocabelo.co.uk.
"I feel great and if this can help 1 more person kick the stigma of men wearing Hair Systems that would make me feel even more happy. Do what makes you happy."

Viewers took to the comments claiming his new look knocked years off his age and praised him for keeping his grey hair. One user said: "Took 20 years off him! Amazing."
Another added: "Wow he looks absolutely fantastic. You can feel his confidence emerging. Brilliant." A third commented: "SO glad you kept the colour, and blended versus colouring. Very nice."
