That’s one stylish snack.
Kim Kardashian’s favorite fashion house, Balenciaga, is back with another whimsical bag.
This time, creative director Demna has paired up with PepsiCo for a series of purses designed to look like Lay’s potato chip pouches.
The tasty totes were a part of Balenciaga’s muddy runway presentation during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month, but went largely unnoticed at the time, with models holding the crumpled clutches to their sides.
According to Hypebeast, the $4 Lay’s chip bag has been transformed into a zippered leather clutch, styled in four “flavors” — Original, Salt & Vinegar, Lime and Flamin’ Hot — complete with Balenciaga branding. They’ll reportedly retail for $1,800 a pop.
