A BARGAIN supermarket with over 1,000 locations is pulling down the shutters on another site.
Iceland will be closing another one of its supermarkets at the end of next month.
The frozen food specialist has closed over a dozen shops already this year including locations in Bristol and Suffolk.
This latest closure will be its Fulford Road branch in York on October 28, at 4pm.
Local media reports that a message to customers says: "Sorry we're closing, but if you love Iceland you'll love the Food Warehouse.
"Your Fulford Road Iceland store is permanently closing from 4pm on Saturday 28 October.

"Your nearest store is York Foss Islands Food Warehouse."
A spokesperson for Iceland confirmed to The Sun that the store was closing due to the lease coming to an end.
They added: "Across Iceland and The Food Warehouse we have a portfolio of over UK 1,000 stores, and our retail estate has grown by nearly 200 stores over the last ten years.
"We typically open more than 20 new stores each year, creating many new jobs and contributing to the growth of local economies.

"At the same time, we continually review the retail experience offered to our customers and have always made a small number of store closures every year, as local shopping patterns change and shop leases expire.
"The business is currently trading very strongly, achieving record market shares."
Earlier this month, the supermarket chain closed its Llanelli branch in Wales, and also its site in Fratton.
Its locations in the Market Shopping Centre in Crewe and its branch in Grange Road, Birkenhead also closed for the last time on Saturday, September 16.
The bargain supermarket will close its store on Trinity Street, Huddersfield on October 28.

It is not all bad news for Iceland shoppers though as it has opened a new store in Slough and two new shops under the Food Warehouse in Kendal and Aberdeen.
The retailer has also just announced the return of its festive savings scheme that gives an extra cash boost for its customers this year.
Last year the frozen food specialists opened 24 new Iceland stores and you can find your nearest by using the store locator on the website.
Iceland is not the only bargain retailer to close some of its stores, several others have announced closures too.
Most recently bargain discounter Wilko collapsed seeing hundreds of store closures and thousands of staff lose their jobs.
Closures have also happened at Farmfoods, Co-op and Shoezone.
And it is not only supermarkets, popular pub chain Wetherspoons is also pulling the plug on some of its locations.
