Ever since Big Brother returned to our screens last month, night after night viewers have been treated to the latest drama, shenanigans and nail-biting tasks from within the Big Brother house.
Yet despite having grown attached to this year’s contestants in the short time we’ve known them, there is still so much to learn about their lives outside of the show, with many fans curious about everything from their day jobs to love lives.
One contestant in particular which appears to have piqued the curiosity of fans however, is 26 year old Noky Simbani, who formed a close knit bond with Zak Srakaew in the house, prior to his elimination after just two weeks.
Since his departure, viewers will recall Noky took on the role of Queen Ant alongside Chanelle during a recent shopping task, but sadly the duo lost out on a luxury shopping budget after they failed to complete a puzzle task in the 15 minute time limit.
But what exactly is Noky’s life like off screen? Here’s everything you need to know about the BB star…
Where is Noky from and how old is she?
26 year old Big Brother star Noky originally hails from Zimbabwe, but grew up in Hilton, Derby and decided to take part in the show to prove that pageant girls were just as talented as other men and women out there.
Coming from a background which saw her win Miss Universe Great Britain in 2022, Noky explained prior to entering the house: "I've had so many amazing times in my life, like going to Miss Universe as Miss Great Britain. I like to do something different and I think this is the next challenge I want to conquer.”
"I also show what it's like being a woman who's worked in male- dominated fields. I want to show that women are capable of doing anything they want," she explained.
Before adding: "I'm really excited to meet everyone and see who I get on with. I know that there'll definitely be people that I don't get on with but that's part of the fun of it as well!"
What does she do for a living?
When she’s not busy winning prestigious beauty pageants or starring in Big Brother, Noky works as a banker where she can put her keen eye for numbers to good use.
In addition to her financial career, Noky is also trained in chemical engineering and even studied for a masters degree in the subject at Birmingham University.
And if that wasn’t enough, Noky also runs a cake-making business, which she started in lockdown, and is said to make some some "super crazy cakes.”
Love life
While it is currently unknown whether Noky is in a relationship or not, housemate Zak did address rumours of a romance between the pair in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan UK.
"Me and Noky, we built this special bond like brother and sister," he shared.
"I played with her quite a lot, I had a little flirt with her here and there but it was harmless. I feel like because she's top Miss Universe and I do a bit of modelling, people just [said we] look good together and painted a picture that wasn't real," he continued.
Showbiz pal
With such an impressive career so far, it’s perhaps no surprise that Noky has plenty of fans fighting her corner in the Big Brother house, but one famous face among them is none other than 2021 Love Island star Sharon Gaffka, who has been a long time pal of the Hilton resident.
In fact, as Noky made her debut on Big Brother last month, Sharon was one of the first celebrities to speak out in support of her on Instagram, as she shared a sweet video of the duo dancing together alongside the caption: "This is why you don't record yourself doing things on other people's phone .
