Brit teams with Wolf of Wall Street to launch “Whiff of Wall Street” aftershave

A British businessman has teamed up with reformed stockmarket fraudster Jordan Belfort to launch an aftershave dubbed “the Whiff of Wall Street”.

Jason Cooper has created two men’s fragrances with the American ex-financier – whose sex, drugs, drink and money lifestyle was immortalised by Leonardo DiCaprio in hit film The Wolf of Wall Street.

Down-to-Earth Yorkshireman Jason, 50, who runs a software firm, hit on the idea after meeting Jordan at a party.

The scents, called Phenomenal and Chemistry, cost £95 for 100ml.

They are billed as a “revolutionary pheromone fragrance concept to enhance your aura, personal magnetism and intensify the power of attraction”.

Jason said: “A friend called and said, ‘I’m going out with the Wolf of Wall Street tonight.

"Fancy joining us?’. It was an amazing evening.

"He had such magnetism and so many stories.

"He didn’t drink a drop of alcohol, but he had such chemistry.

“We got talking and we got on to the perfume. I’d been researching it for a while and within two days I pitched my idea to him.”

Jordan, 56 – now an author and motivational speaker – was jailed for fraud in 1999. His tell-all autobiography was adapted for the 2013 film.

Tycoon Jason, from Doncaster, left school at 16 and worked as a fencing contractor.

He was forced to give up his job because of arthritis so he started importing computer games and made his fortune.
