Cheapest supermarket to buy Baileys this week as chains go head to head – and it’s not Asda | The Sun

CHRISTMAS is less than four weeks away and shoppers looking to snap up some Baileys will want to head to one of two supermarkets.

Retailers often slash their prices on the festive tipple in the build up to December 25.

But remember you can always save a bit of cash opting for a dupe of the iconic alcoholic beverage.

If you're set on the branded version though, you'll want to head to Tesco or Sainsbury's this week.

Tesco has slashed the price of its 1litre Original flavour bottle to £10 for Clubcard customers.

Meanwhile, Sainsbury's is offering the bottle for £10 to Nectar Card customers.

After the UK's two largest supermarkets, Asda, Morrisons and Ocado are the next cheapest – they are all selling the 1litre bottle for £13.

Online giant Amazon has the tipple on sale for £13 as well.

As ever, remember to check elsewhere in case we missed a cheaper price.

How does Tesco Clubcard work?

Tesco's Clubcard scheme allows customers to earn points as they shop.

These can then be turned into vouchers for money off future shops or with other reward partner schemes.

For every £1 you spend in-store and online, and after scanning your card, you receive one point.

Drivers can also get one point for every two litres spent on fuel.

One point is worth 1p, with 150 points worth £1.50, at which point you can request a voucher.

Vouchers are worth face value in Tesco, or you can double their value when spending at the retailer's reward partners.

Some partners include Prezzo, Pizza Express, Best Western Hotels and Disney+. The full list is on Tesco's website.

Anyone signed up to Clubcard also unlocks cheaper prices on over 8,000 items too.

These Clubcard prices save the average member £351 on their annual shop, according to Tesco.
