DEAR DEIDRE: I TURNED into a bitch when my boyfriend cancelled my birthday weekend.
He’d promised that we’d go to London for dinner and a show but, when his mate said he had a spare ticket for his team’s match that day, he chose that instead.
When he told me I threw a bottle at him.
We are both 25. I’ve just had a miscarriage so my hormones are all over the place.
My partner doesn’t realise how hurt and alone the miscarriage has made me feel.
I’ve always been the aggressor, though. I’ve called him names and told him to change his hairstyle or that I hate his clothes.
I always want him to be the best version of himself he can be but I’ve blown it now. He says I’ve gone too far yet I believe I can change.

If he chose football over you without checking with you first, has he enough commitment to your relationship for it to last?
