A man who won an eye-watering £76million lotto jackpot surprised the public with his very British reponse.
Humble builder Andy Clark, 51, scooped the life-changing prize in a EuroMillions draw after his niece begged him to check his ticket.
After looking at his winning numbers, back in December 2018, Andy rang Camelot and the conversation sparked disbelief across the nation.
The 51-year-old from Boston, Lincolnshire, told the phone operator: "Hello there mate, I think I've won a few quid so I phoned."
To which the lotto staff member laughed and replied: "Okay, so you've won £76million."
Andy casually batted off the news and simply said: "Yeah."
"You're the person with the ticket," responded the phone operator in disbelief at the builder's calm reaction.
The operator then says: "Wow, what an amount of money. The exact amount was £76,369,806.80."
