Kid Rock ‘a great actor’ in ‘Waffle House Christmas’ music video

Kid Rock has been called a lot of things in his day, but a rookie cook who looks like a musician is a first.

“Between you and me, he don’t know nothin’ about nothin,’” said 78-year-old Grand Ole Opry star Jeannie Seely.

With his hair tied back in a ponytail as he smashes eggshells on the Waffle House’s griddle, the description of Rock hits its mark.

But, the “Cowboy” singer isn’t giving up his day job. Seely and Rock are among the co-stars of country singer Bill Anderson’s new music video for “Waffle House Christmas.”

Set in a Waffle House near Nashville, the video also includes “Redneck Woman” singer Gretchen Wilson, Ira Dean of Trick Pony, “Delta Dawn” singer Tanya Tucker, singer/comedian Joe Denim, the song’s co-writer Erin Enderlin, popular country radio personality Kelly Ford from Cumulus Media’s Mornings with TY, Kelly, & Chuck and a skunk.
