Lena Dunham is “sick.”
The “Girls” creator, 32, posted an Instagram photo on Tuesday to show off the latest in her extensive collection of tattoos. This time, the “Not That Kind of Girl” author got the word “sick” inked in a cursive rope font across the back of her neck.
“Sometimes the thing you’re most scared of being called is the best thing you can call yourself,” Dunham wrote in the caption, thanking the people responsible for her new body art — Haven Studio in Brooklyn, NY, which advertises itself as a women-owned, body-positive safe space for women, people of color and the LGBTQ+ community.
“And to my sisters in this dizzying but starry slog — i am lasso’d to you!” Dunham continued, explaining her choice of font for the body art.
She also shared a photo of some more new ink on her Instagram Stories, posting a selfie from bed that showcased the names of her parents — Tip and Laurie — written in script across the inside of the pointer and middle finger of her left hand, writing over the shot, “When you love your parents this much.”
