Meghan Markle busily takes notes as she makes secret visit to university

Meghan Markle made a secret visit to a London university to discuss how higher education can help make the world a better place.

The pregnant Duchess of Sussex spent time at Kings College London to meet academics and international scholarship students.

The group discussed the role universities play in addressing issues including human trafficking, slavery, gender equality, climate change and pease.

Meghan was photographed taking notes during the chat, which took place yesterday.

It’s a subject the Duchess is passionate about, and she delivered a powerful speech about education during a visit to the University of the South Pacific on her Royal Tour earlier than this year.

During the speech she spoke about how she was only able to attend college thanks to educational grants and by working part time alongside her studies.

Earlier in the week Meghan attended a carol service with Prince Harry in memory of one of his childhood friends.

Meghan was glowing in a navy dress which highlighted her growing bump and wore her hair in a messy bun.

During the service Prince Harry gave a speech and Meghan read Marianne Williamson’s poem Our Deepest Fear.

Guests claim she spoke very clearly and said the event was one of the best the charity has held, reports the Telegraph.

It’s been a busy week for Meghan, as she also attended a book launch event with Michelle Obama.

She had a long chat with the former First Lady afterwards, discussing a number of important issues.
