Meghan Markle’s dad is set to appear Tuesday on British TV — to respond to his daughter’s claims that he sold her out to the press before her marriage to Prince Harry.
Thomas Markle — who was accused of “betrayal” by Meghan in her explosive TV sit-down with Oprah Winfrey — is scheduled to appear on “Good Morning Britain,’’ show co-host Piers Morgan tweeted Monday.
“UPDATE: Meghan Markle trashed her dad on US TV today. On tomorrow’s @GMB, Thomas Markle will give his first exclusive interview in response,” Morgan wrote.
Meghan told Winfrey that her father — who has already admitted to staging paparazzi photos ahead of her 2018 royal wedding and leaking a personal letter from his daughter — flat-out lied to her about a story he was behind before her wedding.
“We called my dad, and we asked him, and he said, ‘No, absolutely not,’ ” she told Winfrey, referring to the article.
