Motorcyclist jailed after being caught on CCTV riding bike into McDonald’s

A "career criminal" has been jailed after ploughing his motorbike into a McDonald's restaurant.

CCTV footage has been released showing the moment Jordan Roberts terrified customers in Wrexham, Wales, when he brazenly drove into the fast food restaurant as they ate, North Wales Live reports.

The video shows the yob careering into the branch on a mini motorbike as customers came in and out, before pulling a wheelie and driving out again.

A customer can be seen aiming a swipe at him as he sped out and back onto the street.

The 21-year-old had been riding around Wrexham town centre beforehand.

He was sentenced to three years in prison at Mold Crown Court on Friday, where he was described as a "career criminal" who committed his first burglary aged just 11.

Roberts, who gave his address as Berwyn Prison, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and two burglaries – one in Wrexham and one in Llanwrst.

One of the burglaries was committed while the homeowner was in.

He also pleaded guilty to a theft at a Co-op store in Wrexham's Prince Charles Road, during which he punched the shopkeeper in the face and stole a crate of beer.

The court heard how Roberts  had longstanding alcohol problems and had spent much of his life in custody.

Judge Niclas Parry also banned him from driving for two years, to start on his release from prison.
