The coronavirus pandemic is upon us, and many of us are having to work from home or, at the very least, spend a a lot more time behind closed doors. If there is one positive that can be drawn from self isolation it is that its come at a time that it is traditionally associated with spring cleaning.
Yep, that’s right the ‘keep calm and carry on’ mentality of British folk will mean the upcoming weeks will still be a time when the marigolds go on, the elbow grease comes out and we all do our best to make our homes sparkle.
One woman, Courtney Graham, has been using the time to clean and has shared a list of her jobs to do around the house online, and many Mrs Hinch fans were loving it.
Posting to the Facebook group, Hinch Army Cleaning Tips, which is populated with people who are fans of social media cleaning sensation Sophie Hinchcliffe, she wrote: “So this is my proper deep clean as in three weeks I have family and friends coming to stay for my wedding.”
The list, which is inspired by one in Mrs Hinch’s The Activity Journal, has tasks for each room in the house. For instance in the living room she has listed: pull couches out, clean floors and Febreeze, among other things.

As for the kitchen she has meticulously listed all the items that need cleaning such as the benches, windowsill, fridge, sink and cooker.
Many on the group were very thankful for the list and it even inspired some to make their own. One woman wrote: "Have saved your to-do list as it’s inspiring."

While another wrote: “I think Courtney's list is brilliant. I've torn some lined sheets out of an old large diary and am just following suit on them. No need to go out an buy anything fancy.”
Mrs Hinch herself, aside from no doubt also using the this isolation period to clean her house, recently provided us all with a great hack on how to protect bacteria from coming into our house during the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking to her 3.2 million followers, the social media star shared that she has installed a hand sanitiser station by the front door of her house which is mandatory for everyone that enters to use.
She wrote on the image of that station that she shared on her Instagram Stories: "I have [had] hand sanitiser on this shelf as you walk in the front door for the last week or so! Everyone has to use it when they enter and exit our house for now.”
She then continued: ”I recommend you do it too guys! Why not! Doesn't look pretty but who cares!"
