A teen mum has shared a heartwarming clip of her taking her toddler son to prom as her date, hitting back at haters who said she's "ruined her life" for falling pregnant at young age.
Melissa Mccabe couldn't find a baby sitter to care for her one-year-old, Arthur, and so decided to take him to be "a part of prom day".
The 16-year-old shared several photos of them getting ready for the big day on June 30 to TikTok.

"Everyone going to prom with their boyfriends whereas I took my biggest blessing," she wrote.
Melissa puts on a pastel blue dress while she dresses her son in a grey suit with a matching bow tie.
She told Liverpool Echo: "It was honestly so cute having him with me and getting pictures taken together because we don’t really have any nice up-to-date pictures of us.
"He loved it and he particularly loved all the snacks!
"I’ve had the odd couple of negative comments but I’ve also had messages off girls who are pregnant and are still in school and are worried about going back to school.
"I’ve mainly had loads of people being really supportive which is really nice because it's coming from people I don’t know."
Melissa, who graduated from Ridgeway High School, said she is keen to break the prejudices about being a teen mum.
"I had Arthur at 15. It was hard because everyone told me I was ruining my life and I wasn’t going to get my GCSE's," she explained.
"So many people make comments when I’m out with him.

"Often people think he’s my little brother and when I tell them he’s mine, their attitude completely changes.
"Older people especially find it disgusting because obviously their way was to get married first and then have kids."
Melissa completed her GCSEs last month and will be starting her Health and Social Care study at college in September.
