If you're craving a cheeky Nandos, they you may be interested in these money-saving hacks that have been revealed.
The tips to get cheaper meals from the fast food restaurant have been revealed in a new blog on Martin Lewis' moneysavingexpert.com website.
The website claims you can save up to £10.45 by ordering the exact same food on a different part of the menu.
It says that if there are two or more of you, it's usually cheaper to buy a sharing platter than ordering individual meals.
For example, a family who buy two whole chickens and five large sides (enough to feed four to six people) can save £10.45 ordering the 'Family Platter' instead of individual meals.
As well as this money-saving hack, it also shared a free delivery trick.
Those new to delivery app Deliveroo can save around £2-£3 on each Nando's delivery of £15 or more for 14 days.
New Deliveroo accounts can get 14 days free delivery in 400+ locations on any order of £15 or more when signing up and ordering by 11.59pm on Sun July 11 (or Sun 30 May for these 19 locations).
You will need to enter you postcode into the Deliveroo app, and then a pop-up banner will tell you if you're eligible for the offer.
The cost of delivery changes depending on how close you are to the restaurant, but it is usually around £2-£3.
Yet another way to get free food from Nandos is by using your Nandos card.
This sees diners get a 'chilli' (a rewards point) every time they spend £7 or more.
After you earn enough chillies, you can claim a reward such as a free 1/4 chicken (normally £4.25) when you earn three chillies, or a free whole chicken (normally £13.95) when you earn 10 chillies.
Rewards normally expire after a year, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, Nando's has extended any rewards due to expire between January 2020 and March 2021 to Tuesday Aug 31 2021.
So if you do have a Nando’s Card, it’s worth checking online (you'll need to register it if you haven't), or check in a Nando’s restaurant, to see if there’s anything you can claim before it expires.
Yet another hack is getting cheaper chips from the restaurant.
If there's two of you, you may automatically order two separate regular portions of fries for £2.95 each (£5.90 in total).
However, instead you should order a large fries for £5.50 and split it between you. This way you'll save 40p and actually get more fries.
NHS, emergency services and forces also get 20% off orders up to £20, while Costco members can get £10 off £80 of Nando's gift cards.
