New “Bachelor” host Jesse Palmer and Emely Fardo secretly tied the knot in June 2020 after postponing their wedding amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

“We were only able to invite a small group of close friends that live in the greater NYC area, and that were in quarantine at the time,” the couple recently told People in a statement. “We had a lovely afternoon and look forward to celebrating our love with our parents and immediate families all together soon!”

The duo, who originally had plans to marry in Provence, France, ended up saying “I do” in an intimate ceremony at a close friend’s house in Connecticut.

“Big or small, wedding party or not, we feel so grateful and lucky to have found each other,” the pair told the website.

Palmer, 43, and Fardo got engaged in July 2019.

“You said ‘yes’. I’m so lucky to finally call you my fiancé. I asked for an angel to be brought into my life…and it was you,” Palmer captioned Instagram photos of his proposal at the time. “You love me unconditionally. You’ve made me the best version of myself. You’ve given me a sense of calm and a happiness that I’ve never before experienced. Now, the rest of our lives can begin…together.”

Fardo also shared how excited she was to be marrying the NFL star, writing on social media at the time, “We’re engaged! My heart is so full…I feel so lucky to have found the love of my life!! We’re so happy and excited for this next chapter of our lives!”

The athlete popped the question by presenting Fardo with a 3.5-carat diamond ring on a surprise getaway trip to Paris and Champagne, the location where they spent their first vacation together.

“I decided to propose somewhere meaningful, a place that was familiar to us,” he had told the Daily Mail. “I decided this was the place.”

They first met while taking a boxing class at Rumble in 2017.
