Rihanna wears over $35K worth of fur to the pool

Rihanna is feeling the heat and hitting the pool — decked out in a whole lot of fur.

The pop star, 31, posted a picture of herself to Instagram on Thursday rocking some extremely rare vintage Louis Vuitton mink pieces while lounging by the water.

In the shot, the “Wild Thoughts” singer glances back over her shoulder while wearing an oversized Fenty “Immigrant” T-shirt ($240) and her brand’s “Antisocial” shades ($460). But the real story here is the super pricey vintage items she chose to pair with her low-key look.

Rihanna accessorized her self-promotional poolside ensemble with a vintage Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami multicolor mink bum bag, messenger bag, stole and silk headscarf, all from the brand’s fall 2006 “Les Extraordinaires” collection in collaboration with the artist and purchased from luxury vintage store What Goes Around Comes Around.

The items are now rare collector’s pieces, made only more exclusive thanks to the French fashion house’s decision to phase out the rainbow Murakami colorway in 2015.

The Grammy winner’s fanny pack is identical to the one Kylie Jenner snapped up back in May from the same retailer for a cool $24,500. The mink stole, meanwhile, originally sold in stores for $7,000, and the messenger bag could have easily set Rihanna back at least $50,000, given its size and one-of-a-kind status — making the matching scarf, which originally retailed for $350, a comparative bargain.

The designer of these items, Marc Jacobs, even took note of the bad gal’s new haul, commenting on the photo, “I remember those pieces well! Glad you got them.”
