It might not be the first brand you think of when shopping for your wedding dress, but supermarket Sainsbury’s has launched its very own bridal collection.
Brides on a budget are able to pick up a £22 wedding dress while completing their weekly food shop – with another dress on the market for £50.
The range was unveiled by Tu Clothing – the supermarket’s clothing brand – last week.
The two dresses come in sizes 8 to 24, with the more expensive featuring a cowl neck, and the cheaper dress in a sleeveless, V-neck style.
But that’s not all on offer, with a white two-piece suit also on sale for £68.

It includes a double-breasted jacket and trousers.
There’s also a three-piece wedding suit for grooms-to-be, priced at £116.
And brides-to-be can get ready for their wedding night at Sainsbury’s, with lingerie sets starting at £8.50 for a bra and £2.40 for matching lace underwear.
Sainsbury’s is the first supermarket to launch a bridal range, doing so because of the cost of living crisis which has sent bills and food prices soaring in the UK.
The brand said it is focused on ‘meeting customer needs’, which today is ‘affordable, classic styles’.
A number of other high-street brands have launched their own wedding ranges.
They include online retailer ASOS – while Next and Monsoon also offer affordable alternatives to expensive bridal boutiques.
