A HIGH street fashion chain is abruptly pulling down the shutters on two of its sites tomorrow.
New Look, which has more than 400 stores, is closing its shops in Slough and Windsor.
Both the sites will be shutting for the last time on Tuesday, September 5.
A New Look spokesperson said: “Our stores in Slough and Windsor are closing on September 5.
"We would like to thank all of our colleagues and the local community for their support over the years.
"We hope customers continue to shop with us at our nearby locations in Uxbridge and Staines, while our full product ranges can also be found at newlook.com.”

The closures have sparked a flurry of social media posts on local Facebook groups from disappointed shoppers.
One shared a picture of a poster in the window of the Slough shop.
It reads: "Slough, thanks for having us. But it's time to say goodbye.
"This store will be closing on Tuesday, September 5."

Sad shoppers were quick to comment on the post.
One said: "Another one, Windsor is closing too."
Another wrote: "Omg! There will nowhere to shop soon."
A third commented: "Oh my goodness we're getting to a point where there'll be nowhere to go physically shopping and we'll have to be online for everything."
A fourth simply wrote "very sad".
And a fifth said: "I know I don't go in there often but was sad to see as it's so accessible for me."
It comes after another New Look store closed over the weekend in Cornmarket, Lancaster.
The shop located in Beverley, east Yorkshire, and will also shut for good on Friday, September 8.
Several other sites have pulled its shutters down this year already.
A branch in Fosse Park Shopping Centre, Leicester, closed for good on July 25 and its store in the Kings Chase Shopping Centre, Leeds, shut on August 9.
Meanwhile, its shop in the Crossgates Shopping Centre, Leeds, closed to customers at the end of July.
It shut six branches in January and February this year too.
But it's not all bad news – in November 2022, it opened several shops across the UK.
It also has plans to open more stores in 2023, though it hasn't said how many and where in the UK they'll be.
The high street has been hit hard in recent years due to the growth of online shopping, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the same time the cost of living has been rising, leading to shoppers cutting back on non-essential spending.
Brick and mortar stores have also seen a lack of footfall due to consumer habits switching to online shopping.
Popular chains including M&Co and Paperchase closed all stores this year.
Most recently, bargain discounter Wilko fell into administration, putting 400 branches at risk.
Following the pandemic, businesses were struggling to bounce back anyway, only to then be hit by soaring energy bills.
