Thousands of Dua Lipa fans queued for hours at Sydney Olympic Park on Wednesday night after reporting the ticketing app used for the concert had failed.
Huge crowds formed outside Qudos Bank Arena for the second Dua Lipa show in as many nights amid reports Ticketek’s digital ticket system was down.
Attendee Paula Dayeh told the Herald that patrons had been lining up outside for hours and staff were resorting to manually checking emails before concert-goers could enter the venue.
“Either Ticketek has crashed or all the tickets are being voided … It was meant to start at 8.30pm and there’s still a couple of thousand people waiting outside [at 8.45pm].
“No one has told us what’s going on.”
