Who is Dancing On Ice star Ria Hebden? Everything you need to know

Ria Hebden is just one of the celebrities announced to be taking part in this year’s Dancing On Ice.

The 38-year-old has joined the likes of Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor, Love Island's Liberty Poole and Happy Mondays’ Bez to compete in the next series of the ITV skating show.

Ria rose to fame as a presenter and is best known for presenting weekly entertainment slots on Lorraine.

So as the TV star hits the rink for training ahead of her debut on the ice, here is everything you need to know…

Originally from Yorkshire, Ria Hebden lives in London with her husband Mark, their two children Noah and Lula and Schnoodle puppy.

The couple recently celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary.

The presenter first joined Lorraine in 2018 and currently presents entertainment slots each Friday.

Ria has worked consistently for ITV and as well as Lorraine, she has also presented live broadcasts for This Morning and recorded All About Britain alongside Alex Beresford.

She has also appeared as a panellist on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! – the Daily Drop and BBC Two’s Strictly: It Takes Two.

The TV star is a confident interviewer and has sat down with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

She has spoken to Ruby Wax about mental health, Kim Cattrall about the #MeToo movement, and Idris Elba and John Boyega about diversity and black British talent migrating to the US for work.

Ria also hosts her own podcast in which she interviews some of the most exciting female leaders in the British Creative industries.

She is also known within the industry for her work as a live industry host.

She has fronted awards for the Royal Television Society, MIPCOM and the Jack Petchey Foundation and moderates industry panel discussions for BAFTA, RTS Futures and the Media Production Show.

The star also owns her own production company called Carpe Diem Media Productions, which features digital talk show, Wonder Woman TV.
