AJAX are BOTTOM of the Eredivisie table after being thrashed 5-2 by rivals PSV Eindhoven.
The Dutch giants have had a horrendous start to the season, winning just one of their eight league games.
Last week they sacked manager Maurice Steijn in a bid to arrest their slump – having only appointed him in June following good work at Sparta Rotterdam.
Hedwiges Maduro was subsequently hired as caretaker boss, but has been unable to stop the rot.
Ajax lost 2-0 at Brighton in the Europa League on Thursday night.
They were then humiliated by PSV, despite having actually taken the lead.

Branco van den Boomen's tenth minute strike put Ajax in front.
Hirving Lozano levelled for the home side just ten minutes later, but Brian Brobbey reclaimed the lead for Maduro's men on the stroke of half-time.
It wouldn't last, however, with Luuk de Jong making it 2-2 just four minutes after the break.
Ismael Saibari gave PSV their first lead of the contest just moments later.

Lozano then added a further two goals to complete his hat-trick and consign Ajax to an embarrassing 5-2 defeat.
The result sealed a number of humiliating records for the fallen giants.
Ajax are currently bottom of the league for the first time in their proud history – just four years after reaching the Champions League semi-finals.
They have also lost five consecutive Eredivisie matches for the first time.
So far this season they have already conceded 21 goals in just eight league games.
That is more than the 19 they conceded in the ENTIRETY of Erik ten Hag's last Eredivisie campaign in charge.
